When I finished these two small wall hangings this afternoon, I was thrilled, not only because I finished them but because I thought I had finished the twelve quilts I had committed to finishing in 2013. Then when I went to post them here on the website I realized that I had not finished a quilt during the month of October. As I think I mentioned earlier, I was putting in a great deal of time on a Halloween Quilt until I started making too many mistakes. I was so sure that I would finish it, that in my mind I had. Ah well, not to worry I tell myself, there is always next Halloween. Since I still have many WIPs, aka works in progress, I may have to commit to finishing 12 more in 2014. By the end of 2014 I will probably find new homes for any unfinished tops. Enough is enough after all. I know exactly what I will now be working on for my December 2013 quilt. My guild has a challenge quilt due at our holiday party and since I do love a good challenge, I will finish another quilt before the second Tuesday in December. Actually I am about 75% done and liking it so far. Oh please don’t let me mess it up...
