Adventures in France and Italy

Now that my head is out of the jet lag fog, I  thought I would do one very quick post before leaving town again, this time only 1 1/2 hours away to a quilt retreat at Bishops Ranch.  Hopefully I will have some quilting to post upon my return.  But back to France and Italy.  We had an amazing trip with an very creative group of people.  While staying in Nice, France for 6 night with The Blue Walk’s, Carlo Roberts, we had daily watercolor lessons with the amazing, kind and generous, Jane La Fazio.  Most of the other ladies on the trip had, like me, taken many on-line classes with Jane, but were meeting her for the first time on the trip.  What a very special person she is.  Take a class with or go on a trip with her.  You won’t be disappointed.  She and Carlo were wonderful highlights of the trip along with my amazing traveling companions from all over the US, Canada and two Aussies.  Fantastic in every way.  Tom joined me in the end and we went to Italy for 8 wonderful nights, visiting Chiavari, Lucca and Pisa.  When I’m home from Healdsburg, I’ll post more photos.  Ciao.
