Starting July with a Finished Quilt for our Grandson to be!

We spent this last weekend in Seattle, WA, for our annual summer visit and to attend the baby shower for our new grandson expected in the end of August.  I made him an “Eye Spy” type quilt with many fabrics that represent his family.  There is a map of Texas and lots of cowboy images for my Texas DIL, California images and trains for my son, our Rhodesian Ridgeback, lots of healthy fruits and vegetables, a bald eagle and the Seattle Space Needle.  Every bit of the fabric was from my stash.  As the little guys grows, there will be many images to identify and learn.  I also made him four little pairs of booties, one of which I painted.  Now to unpack my bags...
